Use of these services implies full and unconditional acceptance and validity of any and all of the General Terms and Conditions and/or Conditions – which are deemed to be automatically incorporated into your contract with San Carlo Suite Torino, without the need for your written transcript thereof – included in the latest version of these General Terms and Conditions and/or Conditions.
2. USE OF PRE-BOOKING AND ONLINE RESERVATION SERVICES.
2.1. Pre-Booking Services
Online Pre-Booking services are purely informational, and their sole purpose is to offer users the opportunity to check room availability in the hotel or city of their interest. WITHIN 24 HOURS, THE USER WILL RECEIVE AN E-MAIL CONFIRMATION OF THE RESERVATION, WHICH WILL THEREFORE BE BINDING ONLY AFTER ACCEPTANCE BY SAN CARLO SUITE TORINO, THROUGH ITS CONFIRMATION BY E-MAIL AND SUBSEQUENT PAYMENT BY THE USER. The user should check the booking confirmation and report any errors immediately and in writing to San Carlo Suite Torino.
2.2. Online Reservation Services
a. The purpose of Online Reservation Services is to book a room at San Carlo Suite Torino. Use of these services presupposes full and unconditional acceptance and validity of all individual general terms and/or conditions, which shall be deemed to be automatically incorporated into the agreement signed with San Carlo Suite Torino without the need for their written transcription herein, including the most current version of these terms and/or conditions.
b. Contract Procedure: When you use this service, you will receive an email confirmation that includes confirmation that the customer’s purchase order is undergoing the confirmation process. If the user is already a customer, once the amount related to the Reservation has been paid, he or she will receive a confirmation e-mail that will serve as proof of the reservation. The name of the cardholder must match the name of the guest staying at the facility. When checking in, you will be asked for the credit card used to make the reservation to verify the details. The cardholder must be present at the time of check-in.
c. Guarantee: The reservation is confirmed and guaranteed for the whole night by credit card. If the customer does not show up, without prior notification, the cost of the night will be charged (including VAT and tax). The hotel reserves the right to verify the validity of the card prior to the guest’s arrival at the hotel by making a pre-authorization or charging a certain amount, which will never exceed the equivalent of the first night’s stay of the reservation. In both cases, such transactions will be reversed on the same day. The re-credit or refund period depends solely on the card issuer, so the hotel has no responsibility for any delays in this regard. By way of clarification, a pre-authorization temporarily holds or “freezes” a specific amount in the customer’s bank account in order to verify the validity of the card and/or the existence of funds. In the event that the above transactions result in a negative outcome, the credit card will be considered invalid. This may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.
d. Termination of agreement or cancellation of a reservation. The credit card is only a guarantee. A cancellation of the reservation by the user will not imply charges for early cancellation, provided this is done within the specified deadline based on the day of arrival. Once this limit is exceeded, San Carlo Suite Torino will charge a cancellation fee as compensation, equal to the price of the night (including VAT and taxes).
e. SAN CARLO SUITE TORINO CANCELLATION PENALTIES: There is no credit card charge if cancellation takes place within 48 hours before the day of arrival at the hotel (hotel local time). If the customer does not show up, without prior notification, 100% of the total reservation cost will be charged.
These clauses do not apply to reservations with NON-CANCELABLE rates. In this case, 100% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged as NON-CANCELABLE fares do not qualify for any refund.
f. Juvenile regulations.
Minors, under the age of 18, staying at the hotel must be accompanied by their parents, teachers or other duly authorized adults. Hotel staff may request documentation to identify adults such as parents/teachers as authorized persons.
g. Rates per room and per night
Rates are valid only in writing and only for the period indicated. The San Carlo Suite Torino reserves the right to change these prices without notice where justifiable reasons exist.
Reservation-related fees are specified during the reservation process.
h. Prices shown at the time of booking include VAT (or equivalent tax) at the current rate.
Should the tax rate change during the period between the date of reservation and the date of service delivery, resulting in a price difference, depending on the tax regulation, the rate applied to the final price will correspond to the rate applicable at the time of service delivery or accrual, even if the rate at the time of service delivery results in an increase in the final price from that communicated to the customer at the time of reservation.
2.3. The user agrees to use the services in accordance with the Law, decency, respectability and public order, as well as the provisions of these General Terms and/or Conditions. Accordingly, you have an obligation to refrain from using such services with purposes and effects that are unlawful and/or contrary to what is set forth in these General Terms and Conditions, in a manner that may be detrimental to the rights and/or interests of third parties or that may in any way harm San Carlo Suite Torino and/or its image or services.
2.4 For greater agility and in the interest of its users, Il San Carlo Suite Torino may unilaterally change the services provided or the operational or technical conditions as well as the conditions of use of the services at any time without prior notice. Likewise, users, in order to improve the service and establish optimal quality levels can make suggestions for changes they consider useful by contacting the page managers via the following e-mail address: sancarlosuitetorino@gmail.com
The customer, following the reservation, without objection, agrees to a withdrawal of €500.00 as a security deposit and/or compensation for damages made by the customer at the facility.
Detailed feedback will be provided for any damages of higher amounts.
